We want your stay at Fish’n Fun to be Comfortable and Convenient.
To help ensure you are comfortable, we provide many of the necessities you will
need while you are staying with us.
Fresh towels and washcloths can be acquired in an exchange each day. We also
provide toilet tissue, trash bags, hand
& dish soaps and a few other necessities. All bed linens are also supplied.
Our cabins are equipped with a full size electric stove and refrigerator,
microwave, coffeemaker, dishes, utensils, cookware as well as a TV with local
stations. There are also a picnic table and barbeque grill outside each cabin
but you will need to use your own charcoal and starter. (We have some available
in the office items for sale.)
We have a boat launching ramp for our guests next to our large covered dock. Please inquire if you have any particular needs, we have some boating equipment and may be able to help you. Please let us know if you have any special slip or mooring requirements and we will try our best to accommodate your needs. Please bring your own mooring ropes. We also have a compressor if you need to inflate any water toys.
There is a swimming pool available for our guests. Please check the rules and
regulations for the pool before using it.
Our office is situated near the center of the resort. Next to the office there
is a laundry room that is available during office hours should you need to
launder any clothing. We also have ice, some bait and other items available.
Shell Knob is only a few miles away from Fish’n Fun should you require any supplies, provisions or other needs during your
stay. The town has a variety of stores and specialty shops that includes a
hardware store, filling stations, boat rental and marine repair shops, bait
shops, liquor stores and a pharmacy. There is also a variety store, a year
round indoor flea market, some gift shops, very good restaurants and a large
modern grocery store with an excellent selection of fresh items in their
produce, bakery, meat and deli sections. Some guests find it easier or more
convenient to buy nearly all of their groceries in Shell Knob instead of
hauling them from home.
