In addition to the great fishing around Fish’n Fun resort, there is plenty of cool clear water for skiing and other water activities. The shallow incline of our shoreline and the gravel bottom and clear water make for great snorkeling. Our large covered dock is a great place to fish or relax while you look at the lake. There is a swimming platform attached to the dock where you can enjoy the sun and clear water. We also have a very nice swimming pool, a game room, a sandbox for the little ones and several pieces of sporting equipment to help you enjoy your leisure time around the resort.

But the FUN doesn’t stop there!

Numerous area attractions provide a wide selection of events and activities to entertain every age, taste and interest. In addition to the many events such as fairs that are scheduled, there are many outstanding and interesting places to visit when you stay at Fish ’n Fun.

Roaring River State Park
Only about a half an hour drive from Fish'n Fun is Roaring River State Park. The Park has a deep narrow valley with a very large deep blue spring that feeds a beautiful stream stocked with trout from the adjacent hatchery. The spectacular views and many trails make this a wonderful place to hike. You can also swim, picnic, fish and generally enjoy the great outdoors. There is a fascinating nature center at the park as well as a store for those things you might discover you need.

Eureka Springs, Arkansas
This Victorian era town is nestled in the hills of northwest Arkansas and reminds some visitors of an alpine village. The town has many fascinating shops, restaurants, theaters, amusements and other attractions centered around picturesque hotels that were built around the end of the 1800 ’s to accommodate visitors who wanted to enjoy the healthful springs and natural surroundings.

When visiting Fish’n Fun, you can plan a trip to Eureka Springs for the entire family or mom can sneak off for an afternoon of shopping or a massage while dad and the kids fish.

Branson, Missouri
Nearly everyone has heard of Branson, Missouri and knows that it is a top entertainment destination in America. Branson is about 40 miles from Fish ’n Fun. Take that short drive and you can enjoy a huge entertainment district that includes performances by famous entertainers, great food, malls, shops, museums, amusements and many other activities. You can even take in the spectacular view from Inspiration Tower.
Have a great time at Branson and then return to the restful peace and quiet of Fish ’n Fun at the end of a long day of fun and excitement.

Silver Dollar City
About 30 miles east of Fish’n Fun you can visit one of the more unique amusement parks in America, Silver Dollar City. This 1890's themed amusement park has rides, music shows, amazing crafts and even a giant cave. It is fun for all ages.

Bass Pro Shop
Springfield, Missouri is only an hour drive from Fish’n Fun and home to what may be the most amazing and famous sporting goods store in the world, Bass Pro Shop. This is the World Headquarters for this popular chain of sporting good stores. Almost any kind of sporting goods and apparel you can desire are available and the fishing equipment selection is second to none. The store also has a large area with a wide selection of campers and boats. The store includes a restaurant, snacks, large fish tanks with native species as well as a museum full of outdoor related exhibits. Bass Pro Shop is another great place to visit during your stay at Fish ’n Fun.

Caverns
You can explore the natural wonder of caverns during your stay at Fish’n Fun. Just 20 miles south is Cosmic caverns where you can get a guided tour of an impressive underground attraction. Talking Rocks Cavern, Marvel Cave and Fantastic Caverns are also in the area around Fish ’n Fun.

Piney Creek Wilderness Area
A short drive from Fish’n Fun is the Piney Creek Wilderness Area where you can enjoy hiking, hunting and backpacking on over 8000 acres of natural wilderness that was established by Congress in 1980.

Wilson's Creek National Battlefield
This Civil War Battlefield is part of the National Park Service lands. It provides a fascinating look at the history of the Civil War. The battlefield park has a visitor center, a tour road and hiking trails that are all open 7 days a week year round from 8am to 5pm with the exception of a few major holidays. There is also a very interesting Civil War Museum that is open April through September from 9am to 5pm, again with the exception of some holidays.

Golf
There are several golf courses in the area for Fish’n Fun guests who are golf enthusiasts looking for a new course to challenge their skills. Cedar Creek (9 hole) and Kings River (18 hole) are just two of the nearby golf courses you can try during your stay.

Craft Shows
If you visit during the fall months you may want to take in one of the many craft shows and festivals. The list includes; the Silver Dollar City Fall Crafts Festival, the Holiday Island Show, the War Eagle Show in addition to the local Eagle Rock and Shell Knob Shows.
