Meet the Owners

Fish’N’Fun Resort has been hosting fun, nature-filled family vacations at our family resort near Branson, MO since 1958. We are Stephanie and Tyler Carpenter, and we have been enjoying the area of Shell Knob and Fish’N’Fun as vacationers for many years. In November of 2020 we decided to move here from Round Rock, TX to enjoy the lake year-round and to continue to host the magical family fun that happens here. Tyler has extensive experience in Construction Management, and Stephanie is a registered nurse.

Improvements to the family resort near Branson, MO so far include: cabin flooring has been replaced, the air conditioners & heaters have been replaced, the front deck on two cabins have been replaced, and there’s lots of fresh paint. The pool area has been updated to feature a water slide and splash pad, with a bar/grill area under a pergola for shade. We look forward to having you as our guests!

Our room was very clean and was exactly as pictured on the website.  The dock had rental slips if you brought your boat with you and also had crappie brush piles hanging down from some of the slips for fishing, although I couldn't figure out how deep they were. The dock sits in somewhere between 40 and 70 feet of water, my wife even caught a few bass off the end.  We had a great trip and would definitely book another stay here when we come back to the lake!

We were perfectly comfortable there, warm and quiet. In the morning, we opened the blinds to a beautiful view of table rock Lake.
